Josh Kaddu

School: Oregon
Position: OLB
Bio: Two-year starter awarded all-conference honors as a senior with totals of 50 tackles/6.5 sacks/9.5 tackles for loss. Junior totals included 32/2.5/2.
Positive: Athletic linebacker prospect with the ability to make plays in every area of the field. Quick changing direction, displays speed out to the flanks and is effective in pursuit. Moves well to the sidelines, effectively makes plays in space and covers a lot of area on the field. Gets depth on pass drops, nicely redirects to the action and shows skill in pursuit. Displays force up the field on the blitz. Breaks down well and effectively uses his hands to protect himself. Works hard to get off blocks.
Negative: Average instincts in coverage. Marginally productive in college.
Analysis: Kaddu is a defensive prospect who's shown steady development in his game the past two seasons. He has a big upside and offers possibilities at outside linebacker for a variety of defensive schemes. Kaddu could develop into a starter at the next level if he continues to improve his game.
