Jerrell Harris

School: Alabama
Position: OLB
Bio: Senior totals included 22 tackles with five starts. Started three games as a junior and finished the year with 24 tackles.
Positive: Moderately productive linebacker who has occasionally flashed next-level skill. Solid athlete who quickly changes direction and loses no momentum when he must alter his angle of attack. Gets depth on pass drops, covers a lot of area on the field and shows an explosive burst to the action. Effective in pursuit and chases ballcarriers down from the backside. Breaks down well and effectively uses his hands to protect himself.
Negative: Indecisive and does not display top instincts. Rotated in the lineup at Alabama and was never able to nail down a starting job.
Analysis: Harris possesses outstanding size/speed and appears to have NFL talent. He needs to fine-tune his game and elevate his play, but he has the ability to be used at outside linebacker in a number of defensive systems at the next level.
