Greg Williams

School: Pittsburgh
Position: OLB
Bio: Three-year starter who posted 48 tackles/7 tackles for loss/2 sacks as a senior after junior totals of 64/5.5/1.
Positive: Athletic weak side linebacker coming off a disappointing season. Displays good movement skills, quickly changes direction and shows a burst to the action. Plays with a nice degree of quickness, shows ability in pursuit and can run down ball handlers from behind. Fast getting out to the sidelines, breaks down well and effectively uses his hands to protect himself. Displays good range on the field.
Negative: Undersized and gets caught up in the wash. Displays limited force and minimally effective on the blitz. Bites on ball fakes. Marginal skill in coverage.
Analysis: Williams has the size and speed to project to the weak side yet must significantly improve his play in coverage. He's more of a one-gap, chase-and-run linebacker who must be protected to have a chance to make plays.
