Quentin Saulsberry

School: Mississippi State
Position: G
Bio: Four-year starter awarded all-conference honors as a senior. Lined up at both guard positions, center and right tackle for Mississippi State.
Positive: Explosive blocker effective in motion. Fires off the snap, jolts defenders at the point of attack and works hard until the whistle blows. Displays quickness in all his actions, works his hands throughout the play and shows skill blocking in motion. Immediately gets out to the second level, redirecting to linebackers and sealing opponents from the action. Gets leverage on defenders, stays square and blocks with good lean.
Negative: Narrow-based lineman who overextends into blocks. Gets minimal movement run blocking. Struggles finishing blocks.
Analysis: Saulsberry was a durable blocker who effectively handled multiple positions on the Mississippi State offensive line. He'd be best as a zone-blocking guard in a scheme that puts him in motion to make the most of his quickness and explosiveness.
