Paul Madsen

School: Colorado State
Position: G
Bio: Three-year starter awarded all-conference honors as a senior. Served a two-year Mormon mission after graduating from high school in 2004 and is now 26 years old.
Positive: Well-sized college tackle likely to move to guard at the next level. Displays good quickness, moves well on his feet and shows the ability to adjust or redirect to linebackers in motion. Bends his knees, blocks with leverage and displays better than average footwork off the edge. Makes good use of angles, works his hands throughout the action and keep defenders away.
Negative: Lacks a dominant base and gets walked back into the quarterback. Struggles finishing blocks.
Analysis: Madsen has been a solid lineman the past two years and possesses the body type and athleticism to get consideration in a zone blocking scheme.
