Bio: Full-time starter during his sophomore and senior campaigns. Struggled with a back injury last year. Used at both guard and center in college.
Positive: Nice-sized offensive lineman who is best in a small area. Stays square, strong at the point and turns defenders off the line or controls them once engaged in a block. Jolts defenders with good hand punch and works blocks hard. Keeps his head on a swivel.
Negative: Lacks blocking balance. Not a natural knee bender. Ineffective blocking in motion.
Analysis: Richmond looked like a potential NFL prospect after his sophomore season yet has watched his game fall off the past two years. He possesses the size and growth potential to make a depth chart as a backup for a number of offensive line positions if he stays healthy and elevates his game.
