Derek Dennis

School: Temple
Position: G
Bio: Four-year starter experienced at every position on the offensive line except center.
Positive: Underrated blocking prospect who plays with a nasty attitude. Keeps his head on a swivel and always looks for someone to hit. Strong, stays square and turns defenders from the action, sealing them from plays. Effective blocking in motion, jolts opponents at the point of attack and keeps his feet moving on contact. Displays good overall quickness and works well with teammates.
Negative: Lacks top footwork in pass protection. Shows stiffness in his upper body. Struggles finishing blocks.
Analysis: Dennis is an underrated offensive line prospect who has been productive, durable and versatile on the college level. He possesses the size and skill to start in a zone blocking scheme and is one of the hidden gems on the offensive line in this year's draft.
