Chuck Burton

School: Montana
Position: G
Bio: Full-time starter the past two seasons. Began his career at guard before moving to tackle.
Positive: Nice-sized college tackle with the ability to line up at several positions. Keeps his head on a swivel, displays good awareness and works well with teammates. Stays square, fights with his hands throughout the action and steers defenders from the play. Displays blocking vision, plays with good lean and is strong at the point of attack. Controls defenders once engaged in a block.
Negative: Does not block with a nasty attitude. Not a natural knee one. Rumbles around the field and ineffective in motion.
Analysis: Burton was a solid blind side protector for Montana and possesses the size and growth potential to play at the next level. He must improve his fundamentals and pick up the intensity, but Burton could make a roster as an invaluable backup.
