Austin Wuebbels

School: Missouri
Position: G
Bio: Three-year starter who worked at both left and right guard. All-academic selection since his freshman season.
Positive: Strong, small-area blocker who struggles in anything other than confined quarters. Blocks with good lean. Stays square, blocks with a wide base. Solid run blocker who knocks defenders off the line or from their angle of attack. Plays with a nasty attitude and attacks assignments.
Negative: Late getting his hands up and must do a better job correctly placing them into defenders. Overextends into blocks. Lacks footwork in space, rumbles around the field and is ineffective in motion.
Analysis: Wuebbels is a powerful lineman but a marginal athlete with limited upside for the NFL. He offers potential as a backup lineman for a ball control, power running offense.
