Art Forst

School: Rutgers
Position: G
Bio: Three-year starter awarded all-conference honors as a senior. Experienced at both guard positions as well as right tackle. All-Academic performer.
Positive: Underrated college blocker who gets the most from his ability. Stays square, anchors in pass protection or seals defenders from the action. Quickly gets his hands up, keeps his feet moving and effective blocking for the run. Stays with the action until the whistle blows.
Negative: Lacks footwork in space and is better in a small area. Slow and ineffective if asked to block in motion. Marginal blocking balance.
Analysis: Forst is a limited athlete yet a very good football player who gets results on the field. He's a free agent prospect who can be kept on a roster as an inexpensive utility lineman with the ability to fill in a variety of spots.
