Addison Lawrence

School: Mississippi State
Position: G
Bio: Three-year starter at right tackle for Mississippi State.
Positive: Tough and durable college tackle who projects to guard in the NFL. Consistently blocks with leverage, makes good use of body positioning and effectively seals defenders from the action. Quick off the snap, explosive at the point and patient in pass protection. Attacks assignments and goes after opponents. Solid run blocker who turns defenders from plays. Keeps his feet moving, gets his hands up and adjusts to oncoming blitzers.
Negative: Lacks top footwork in space and lateral blocking range. Has average size and athleticism.
Analysis: Lawrence is an underrated blocker who was a steady force on the Mississippi State offensive line since his sophomore campaign. He's a hidden gem who can effectively play the guard position in a ball control offense and is worthy of a late-round choice.
