Adam Gettis

School: Iowa
Position: G
Bio: Three-year starter at both left and right guard. All-conference selection as a senior. Struggled with injuries as a junior and started just two games.
Positive: Explosive pass blocking college lineman with adequate size and growth potential. Sets with a wide base, bends his knees and keeps his feet moving. Patient in pass protection, stays square and blocks with leverage. Fights hard throughout the action. Displays good footwork and the ability to slide laterally. Possesses great quickness in his game and is a solid position blocker who seals defenders from the action.
Negative: Lacks a dominant base and gets minimal movement run blocking. Marginally effective in motion despite his computer numbers.
Analysis: Gettis has flown under the radar in the scouting community yet is a legitimate next-level talent who has a chance to be a reserve interior lineman.
