Travian Robertson

School: South Carolina
Position: DT
Bio: Two-year starter who finished with 45 tackles/24 tackles for loss/8 sacks as a senior after posting 42/4/11 the prior year.
Positive: Tough and relatively athletic defensive line prospect who can be used in several different schemes. Bends his knees, gets leverage on opponents and effectively works his hands to protect himself. Fires off the snap with a nice first step, is fluid changing direction and easily moves about the field. Shows ability in pursuit and makes a lot of athletic plays. Keeps his feet moving on contact, is strong at the point and tough to move off the line. Remains disciplined with assignments.
Negative: Handled at the point by a single opponent. Does not make many plays on the ball.
Analysis: Robertson is a gritty lineman who went unnoticed in South Carolina's star-studded defense. He offers possibilities as a three-technique tackle or two-gap end and has a lot of upside.
