Keith McCaskill

School: South Florida
Position: DT
Bio: Posted 29 tackles/8 tackles for loss/4 sacks as a senior when he became a full-time starter. Rotational lineman as a junior, finishing with 14/4/1 after he had 23/1.5/.5 and started five games as a sophomore.
Positive: Undersized yet explosive defensive lineman with potential as a three technique-tackle. Fires off the snap with a terrific first step, shoots through the gaps of the offensive line and is tough to knock off his feet. Keeps his feet moving on contact, plays with good pad level and works until the whistle blows.
Negative: Must learn to use his hands better. Easily knocked off balance by the first block. Lacks bulk and gets engulfed by opponents.
Analysis: McCaskill is a hardworking, high-effort lineman who gets the most from his ability. His quickness, movement skills and special teams mentality will give him a chance to make a roster at the next level.
