Mike Brewster

School: Ohio State
Position: C
Bio: Four-year starter who played 49 consecutive games with the first team. All-American and all-conference selection the past two years.
Positive: Smart, tough blocker in the middle of the line. Keeps his feet moving, effectively works his hands throughout the action and stays square. Quick out to the second level, easily adjusts to hit a moving target and effectively blocks in motion. Displays outstanding awareness, field vision and keeps his head on a swivel. Can slide in space or adjust and pick up blitzes. Works well with teammates and stays with the action until the whistle blows. Gets the most from his assets.
Negative: Inconsistent with the shotgun snap. Overwhelmed on the inside and lacks top strength at the point of attack.
Analysis: Brewster has been productive and durable on the college level and is a center prospect best suited to play in a zone blocking scheme at the next level. He brings a lot to the table in the areas of competitiveness and football awareness.
