Gino Gradkowski

School: Delaware
Position: C
Bio: Three-year starter who began his college career at West Virginia. All-conference selection the past two seasons and named as an All-American in 2011. Experienced at both left and right guard.
Positive: Tough small-area blocker who controls defenders at the point of attack. Quick off the snap, explosive and strong. Stays square, turns defenders from the action and gets movement run blocking. Keeps his head on a swivel, works well with linemates and is always looking for someone to hit. Immediately gets his hands up and correctly places them into defenders. Fights hard until the whistle blows. Solid pass protector who displays the ability to slide in space.
Negative: Lacks agility, blocking balance and struggles finishing blocks. Marginally effective any distance from the line of scrimmage.
Analysis: Gradkowski is a well-built offensive guard with a good body of work on the college level. He offers size, growth potential and could be an inexpensive utility lineman .
