Jeffrey Anderson

School: UAB
Position: TE
Bio: Three-year starter who posted receiving numbers of 32/407/4 as a senior after putting up 26/398/5 the prior year.
Positive: Short yet reliable pass catcher that often lines up in the slot. Solid athlete who quickly gets out into routes, uses his frame to shield away opponents, and extends to make catches away from his frame. Finds the open spot in defenses, adjusts to errant throws, and displays both soft and strong hands. Makes a number of athletic catches on the field. Gives effort blocking and does enough to control linebackers on the second level.
Negative: Lacks downfield speed and is more of an intermediate threat. Adequate strength at the point of attack but does not overpower opponents.
Analysis: Anderson has been a consistent player the past three years at UAB and projects as a backup move tight end in a timing or West Coast offense.
