Daniel Hardy

School: Idaho
Position: TE
Bio: Two-year starter awarded all-Conference honors as a senior after totaling 32/545/1. Missed the final five games of 2010 with a broken arm. Junior numbers included 39/691/3.
Positive: Solid receiving tight end who is best in motion. Breaks down well, plays with leverage, and easily moves about the field. Makes the reception in stride, adjusts to the errant throw, and extends to catch the ball away from his frame. Displays good eye/hand coordination and makes a lot of athletic receptions. Has great quickness. Makes the tough catch in a crowd. Gets to the second level quickly. Solid position blocker who seals linebackers from the action.
Negative: Lacks natural bulk and strength at the point and gets marginal results as a blocker. Is not a true downfield threat.
Analysis: Hardy has displayed progress and ability the past two seasons and offers potential as a second tight end in the NFL.
