Bio: Three-year starter used on the left side at both tackle and guard.
Positive: Hardworking college lineman with limited upside for the next level. Sets with a wide base, patient in pass protection and stays square. Keeps his feet moving throughout the action, keeps his head on a swivel, and immediately picks up stunts or twists thrown by the opposition. Shows quickness off the snap and makes good use of angles.
Negative: Not a natural knee bender. Lumbers about the field. Must do a better job correctly placing his hands into defenders. Lacks footwork in space.
Analysis: Thran did a good job at Oregon the past three years but is a limited athlete with minimal NFL potential and will struggle to make it off a practice squad.
