Rich Lapham

School: Boston College
Position: T
Bio: Three-year starter at right tackle who played in seven games as a senior before being lost for the year to a knee injury.
Positive: Tough, slug-it-out small-area blocker. Sets with a wide base, keeps his head on a swivel, and blocks with a nasty attitude. Stays square and seals defenders from the action. Strong at the point, anchors in pass protection, and turns opponents off the line.
Negative: Stiff, struggles to adjust, and his lack of agility hurts his ability to finish blocks. Struggles sliding out off the edge.
Analysis: Lapham offers outstanding size as well as growth potential and could be a solid right tackle at the next level if he improves his flexibility after returning from his knee injury.
