Perry Dorrestein

School: Michigan
Position: T
Bio: Two-year starter used primarily at right tackle after seeing sporadic action on the left side.
Positive: King-sized offensive tackle who's displayed flashes throughout his Michigan career. Does a good job bending his knees for a tall lineman, is a strong run blocker, and drives defenders off the ball. Keeps his feet moving on contact, gets his hands up, and plays with good quickness. Stays square and keeps opponents in front of him.
Negative: Lacks blocking balance and struggles to adjust. Gathers into blocks.
Analysis: Dorrestein has shown flashes of ability the past two seasons and has enough size to get consideration as a right tackle in the NFL. He's a developmental prospect with a good amount of upside for a team willing to develop him on the practice squad.
