Nick Alletto

School: BYU
Position: T
Bio: Former starting right tackle who was used as a reserve during his senior season. Academic all- Conference selection since his freshman campaign. Took a redshirt season in 2004 before leaving on a two-year Mormon mission.
Positive: Strong blocker who is best in a small area. Sets with a wide base, is patient in pass protection, and stays square. Quickly sets up off the snap and is very effective with his hands.
Negative: Struggles to adjust. Exploited by quick and nimble opponents. Not light on his feet and is ineffective blocking in motion.
Analysis: Alletto was highly rated coming into senior season but could not crack the starting lineup. He has the size to play at the next level if used in confined quarters at guard. The versatility to back up at several positions gives him an edge.
