Michael Arndt

School: North Dakota State
Position: T
Bio: Two-year starter at left tackle.
Positive: Nice-sized position blocker who is best in a small area. Bends his knees, stays square, and plays with good pad level. Quickly gets his hands into defenders, strong at the point of attack, and controls opponents once engaged in a block. Makes good use of blocking angles and seals opponents from the action. Remains disciplined with assignments and displays good awareness.
Negative: Stiff and struggles to adjust. Lacks fluid footwork off the edge. Not a dominant drive blocker.
Analysis: Arndt has shown progress in his game the past two years and offers NFL size as well as growth potential. He's a developmental prospect who should be stashed on a practice squad.
