Positive: Relatively athletic blocker who flashes skill. Plays with good knee bend, pad level and moves well on his feet. Quickly sets up in pass protection, keeps his feet moving throughout the action, and shows some explosiveness.
Negative: Must do a better job placing his hands into defenders. Must improve his overall balance and strength at the point of attack. Lacks a dominant base.
Analysis: Young has displayed the underlying skills the past two years to be solid offensive linemen, but he still lacks a complete game. He needs to get stronger and work on the details of his position, although he should get consideration for a practice squad.
