Cody Habben

School: Washington
Position: T
Bio: Three-year starter at right tackle after seeing action as a reserve on the left side during his freshman season.
Positive: Strong small-area blocker with marginal upside. Stays square, jolts defenders with terrific hand punch and controls them once engaged the point of attack. Adequately bends his knees, anchors in pass protection and does not give up an inch to defenders. Makes good use of body positioning and seals opponents from the action.
Negative: Lacks overall footwork in space and blocking balance. Is too stiff, which hurts his ability to finish blocks.
Analysis: Habben is a big prospect with growth potential and a possible backup on the strong side at either guard or tackle.
