Adam Grant

School: Arizona
Position: T
Bio: Three-year starter awarded all-Conference honors after his senior and junior campaigns. Played both left and right tackle at Arizona.
Positive: King-sized blocker who is best in a small area. Strong, controls defenders at the point of attack and effective with his hands. Blocks with good awareness, works hard to finish plays, and gets the most from his ability. Anchors in pass protection, makes good use of angles, and effectively seals defenders from plays with good body positioning. Strong enough to turn defenders from the action run blocking.
Negative: Lacks footwork sliding out off the edge and struggles to adjust. Not a natural knee bender and gets tall as the play proceeds. Stiff on the field.
Analysis: Grant is a smart and tough lineman but a marginal athlete with limited upside. His size and versatility will help him catch on as a valuable backup at the next level.
