Justin Wilson

School: Southern Mississippi
Position: S
Bio: Two-year starter who totaled 41/4/4 as a senior when he was awarded all-Conference honors. Junior totals included 67 tackles and two interceptions.
Positive: Athletic yet undersized safety with poor ball skills. Plays physical football, bumps receivers throughout the action and wraps up tackling. Works hard to get involved in the play and has a nice burst of closing speed. Quickly collapses to the outside in order to make plays.
Negative: Slow getting his head back around to locate the pass in the air. Shows a lot of hesitation in his game. Takes improper angles to the action.
Analysis: Wilson comes off a disappointing senior campaign after looking like a late round prospect during his junior season. He possesses cornerback size yet plays like a downhill safety which will make it tough for him to grab a roster spot in the NFL.
