Bio: Four-year starter who totaled just 21 tackles as a senior before suffering a season-ending knee injury four games into the campaign. All-Conference after his junior season, totaling 63 tackles.
Positive: Disciplined center fielder who is best between the numbers. Strong in run support, quick up the field, and wraps up tackling. Remains disciplined with assignments, effectively reads quarterbacks' eyes, and works well with teammates. Gives effort until the whistle blows.
Negative: Has marginal ball skills, lacks quickness moving in reverse, and loses transitioning to run with opponents. Shows marginal force up the field.
Analysis: Prior to his injury, Elliott displayed the physical skills necessary to get consideration as a dime back. He must now prove he is healthy in camp this summer to have any chance of making a practice squad.
