Stevan Ridley

School: LSU
Position: RB
Bio: All-Conference selection as a junior when he became the team E(TM)s primary ball carrier, finishing the year with 249/1147/15. Sophomore totals included 45/108/2.
Positive: Strong interior ball carrier who is best running between the tackles. Displays power in his lower body, tough to bring down, and does not get tackled without a fight. Runs with a lot of strength, picks up yardage off initial contact, and is a dependable short-yardage runner. Runs with good lean, falls forward when tackled, and is an adequate receiver out of the backfield.
Negative: Minimal skills trying to avoid piles or bouncing around the corner. Not quick cutting back against the grain and loses momentum changing direction. Possesses limited burst and quickness.
Analysis: Ridley is coming off a career season and looks to build off it after entering the draft. He possesses the size and strength to play for a power running offense but must prove he's more than just a one-dimensional, downhill ball carrier.
