Shaun Draughn

School: North Carolina
Position: RB
Bio: Part-time starter the past three years. Senior totals included 129/637/6 on the ground with 13 receptions. Junior numbers included 124/567/1 before fracturing his left shoulder blade late in the season. Led the Tar Heels with 866 yards rushing as a sophomore.
Positive: Explosive ball carrier who has been consistently productive on the college level. Displays the agility and speed to turn the corner, slips off defenders on the inside, and quickly cuts back against the grain. Has a burst, beats defenders into the open field and falls forward when tackled. Picks his way on the inside and finds the open seams.
Negative: Not a truly creative or elusive ball carrier. Does not stand out in any single aspect.
Analysis: Draughn was a very good college back who does not project well to the next level. He has enough skill to be a rotational player on a roster that keeps four running backs.
