Richard Murphy

School: LSU
Position: RB
Bio: Part-time player the past two seasons, totaling just 85 yards as a senior. Sat on the sidelines the majority of the 2009 season after suffering a knee injury. Totaled 203 yards rushing as a sophomore and 320 yards as a freshman.
Positive: Well-built, athletic skill player with an undeveloped game. Possesses decent quickness, has solid receiving skills, and looks the ball into his hands. Flashes the ability to make defenders miss. Helps out on coverage units getting downfield to make the tackle.
Negative: Seemed to lose a step as a senior coming off his knee injury of the prior year. Was never anything other than a part-time reserve at LSU.
Analysis: Murphy is a good athlete with the tools necessary to become a solid football player. However, he is an undeveloped prospect who needs a lot of work before he'll be NFL ready.
