Positive: Compact, hardworking ball carrier with terrific vision. Resilient, stays on his feet, and shows good awareness. Follows blocks everywhere on the field, keeps the play inbounds, and works to pick up as much yardage as possible. Rarely brought down by the first defender, shows quickness through the running lanes, and consistently goes North/South. Not afraid to take on bigger defenders. Gives effort blocking. Is a solid receiver out of the backfield.
Negative: Possesses a marginal burst of speed. Struggles to beat defenders around the corner and into the open field.
Analysis: Minett is a smart, tough productive player on the college level but lacks the physical skills to have an impact in the NFL. He possesses a special teams mentality and could make it as a fourth ball carrier on a roster.
