Positive: Quick elusive ball carrier that catches the ball well out of the backfield. Displays good vision, quickly finds the hole, and gets through the small creases of the defense. Patient, waits for blocks to develop, and does a good job using them all over the field. Consistently runs North-South. Shows the ability turn the corner. Extends his hands to make the reception away from his frame.
Negative: Not a strong ball carrier who breaks tackles or picks up much yardage off initial contact. Lacks the ability to beat defenders into the open field and run to daylight.
Analysis: Wide was a solid ball carrier for Utah but has no distinguishing single skill to his game. Projects to the next level as a third-down/rotational back.
