Jeff Van Camp

School: Florida Atlantic
Position: QB
Bio: Two-year starter who finished with 57.3%/2459/17/13 as a senior. Junior totals included 1372 yards and 12 touchdowns.
Positive: Smart, patient game manager with limited physical skills. Remains poised in the pocket, senses where his receivers are, and throws with good timing. Rarely has receivers waiting on the ball, effectively puts touch on throws, and displays both accuracy and pass placement. Consistently looks down the field, stands in the pocket, and takes a big hit in order to get the throw away. Does an outstanding job commanding the offense.
Negative: Lacks velocity on his throws and struggles to get the ball downfield. Not a sturdy quarterback who can withstand the rush. Tends to fall out of throws rather than following through on occasion.
Analysis: Van Camp did a terrific job controlling the offense on the college level and could fit in as a third quarterback for a timing offense in the NFL.
