Bio: Three-year starter who finished with 61.7%/1816/15/11 as a senior after putting up junior totals of 58.4%/1326/10/5 in eight games. Missed the end of the season with a broken collarbone. Had career numbers of 2083 yards passing and 16 touchdowns during his sophomore season.
Positive: Accurate passer with terrific field awareness. Patient in the pocket, buys time for receivers, and displays a sense of timing. Accurate, gets the ball through the tight spots against underneath coverage, and puts passes where only his receivers can make the reception. Quickly locates the open target on the field, puts touch on throws when necessary, and makes good decisions in the pocket. Looks away from covered receivers and will pull the ball down and run with it rather than force an errant throw.
Negative: Possesses a tall, slim build and lacks great pocket presence. Ineffective throwing on the move. Lacks a big arm and needs to put a lot of effort on passes to get speed on them.
Analysis: Dieker was a solid college cornerback but lacks the pure physical skills to be anything other than a practice squad player at the next level.
