Blake Bolles

School: Northwest Missouri State
Position: QB
Bio: Two-year starter awarded All-American and all-Conference honors each of the past two years. Senior totals included 63%/3846/30/11 after he had 4145 yards passing and 42 touchdowns as a junior.
Positive: Accurate short and intermediate passer with a nice feel for the position. Patient in the pocket, surveys the field, and does not make poor choices. Does a terrific job commanding the offense. Nicely places passes and lets receivers run to the ball. Always finds the safety. Displays an outstanding sense of timing. Stands in the pocket and will take hits to get the ball away.
Negative: Struggles getting outside the pocket to make throws on the move. Possesses an average arm and really cannot put speed on throws.
Analysis: Bolles is a timing and touch quarterback who's done a terrific job commanding the offense the past two years on a small college level. He's a good game manager but lacks the pure physical skills to be anything other than a practice squad player in the NFL.
