Quentin Davie

School: Northwestern
Position: OLB
Bio: Three-year starter who finished his senior season with 71/6/1.5 after a career campaign as a junior when he totaled 90/11.5/5. Sophomore totals included 57/9.5/3.5. Also intercepted three passes and broke up several more as a senior.
Positive: Athletic and imposing looking linebacker coming off a disappointing season. Breaks down well, gets depth on pass drops, and covers a lot of area on the field. Displays speed in pursuit, quickly changes direction, and is always willing to get involved in the action. Remains disciplined with assignments and plays with a nasty attitude.
Negative: Must use his hands better to protect himself and is easily taken from the action by tight ends at times. Late reacting and does not display top instincts.
Analysis: Davie was highly rated coming into the 2010 season but did not live up to expectations and as a result saw his draft stock drop. He possesses the size, growth potential, and athleticism to be used at outside linebacker in a variety of systems if he gets his game back on track.
