Derrick Hallman

School: UCF
Position: OLB
Bio: Three-year starter who finished with 85/8.5/2, one interception, and six pass break-ups. Junior totals included 85 tackles.
Positive: Undersized, flowing linebacker best in pursuit. Quick up the field, immediately changes direction, and covers a lot of area from sideline to sideline. Slides off blocks to make plays on the ball carrier, shows skill in pursuit and breaks down well. Has a burst to the action.
Negative: Undersized, not a strong tackler, and drags down ball carriers. Really struggles taking on blocks and prefers to run around them.
Analysis: Hallman is as athletic prospect who can be used as a one-gap linebacker but will also get consideration at strong safety. He's a long shot to make a roster, but he has the ability to play special teams.
