Bio: Part-time starter last season, finishing the year with 39 tackles. Started 11 games as a junior and finished with 47 tackles. Sophomore totals included 60 tackles when he started six games.
Positive: Solid college linebacker who lacks the speed for the next level. Relatively effective in space, shows cover skills in the short field, and has the ability to get depth on drops. Collapses down the line making plays against the run. Breaks down well, uses his hands to protect himself, and quickly changes direction.
Negative: Marginal quickness in his game. Lacks the speed to pursue from the back side. Struggles disengaging from blocks. Marginally productive on the college level.
Analysis: Gamble has shown flashes of ability throughout his entire career but has never put together a complete game. He's a better athlete than given credit for and could make a two deep at outside linebacker if he plays well on special teams this summer.
