Bio: Three-year starter awarded all-Conference honors as a senior when he led the team in tackles, finishing the year with 146/1.5/1, three interceptions, and two pass defenses. He had 116 tackles as a junior and 119 as a sophomore.
Positive: Productive college linebacker who's serviceable at the next level. Diagnoses the action, remains disciplined with assignments, and shows a good head for the ball. Scrapes well laterally, effectively uses his hands to protect himself, and makes plays sideline to sideline. Effective in space, shows skill in zone coverage, and gives effort on the blitz.
Negative: Struggles taking on blocks and slowed at the point of attack. Displays just average speed in pursuit.
Analysis: Donald has been a terrific college player yet is a prospect who will be downgraded because of his poor forty time. He has the skills to be used as a backup at inside or outside linebacker in the NFL if he proves his worth on special teams.
