Obi Ezeh

School: Michigan
Position: ILB
Bio: Four-year starter who totaled 56 tackles and 3.5 tackles for loss as a senior after recording 69 tackles during his junior campaign. Had a career-best 98 tackles as a sophomore.
Positive: One-time highly rated run defending linebacker whose game has regressed the past two seasons. Breaks down well, strong at the point, and stacks well against the run. Displays good movement skills and athleticism and gets depth on pass drops. Explosive at the point, pursues the action with speed, and flashes on the scene. Displays skill in zone coverage and the ability to turn his hips and run with opponents down the field.
Negative: Does not look like he plays with a lot of intensity. Rarely uses his hands to protect himself. Marginally instinctive and often gets caught out of position.
Analysis: After his first two years at Michigan, Ezeh looked like a big-time linebacker prospect. He's run hot and cold the past two years and at times looks like he'd rather be elsewhere than on the football field. Ezeh has the size and skill to be a solid middle or inside the linebacker at the next level if he ever gets his game back on track.
