Positive: Competitive two-down linebacker who is best in the box or downhill. Gives a lot of effort and stacks well against the run. Plays heads-up football, breaks down well, and shows the ability to defeat blocks to get to the play. Wraps up tackling and brings defenders down on initial contact.
Negative: Possesses a poor burst of speed and shows no skill in pursuit. Struggles getting out to the flanks to make plays. Lacks quickness and fluidity changing direction.
Analysis: Bynes was a consistent force against the run for the Auburn defense yet lacks the skills necessary to be anything other than a backup at the next level, potentially on the inside of a 3-4 alignment.
