Bio: Three-year starter who posted 63/12/7 as a senior after leading the team in tackles the prior two years, posting 88 as a junior and 94 as a sophomore.
Positive: Explosive run-defending linebacker who makes plays sideline to sideline. Plays with good pad level, stays with assignments, and fluid changing direction. Easily moves sideline to sideline, displays adequate speed in pursuit, and has the ability to get depth on pass drops. Explosive at the point of attack and works hard to make plays.
Negative: Marginal footwork moving in reverse. Easily taken from the action by blocks.
Analysis: Duncan has been a productive linebacker at Texas Tech but was moved around as a senior and did not develop at any single position. He offers potential as a backup middle linebacker in a conventional alignment and comes with a special teams mentality.
