Nick Bellore

School: Central Michigan
Position: ILB
Bio: Four-year starter awarded all-Conference honors since his sophomore season. Had 90/7/1 as a senior and 132/13/3 with 2 interceptions as a junior. Posted a career-best 148 tackles as a sophomore.
Positive: Tough, run-defending two-down linebacker with minimal upside. Fierce competitor who remains disciplined with assignments, quickly diagnoses the action, and flies around the football. Collapses outside to defend the run, shows a good head for the ball, and wraps up as a tackler. Fires up the field and plays with explosiveness.
Negative: Not a rangy linebacker and doesn't cover a lot of area on the field. Comes off a disappointing senior season after struggling with injury.
Analysis: Expectations were high for Bellore, a productive and durable player since his freshman season, but the senior didn't live up to the hype. He projects as a solid inside linebacker and is best as a two-down defender who can play special teams in the NFL.

Height: 6-2
Weight: 238

Year: 4Sr

Josh Bynes

School: Auburn
Position: ILB
Bio: Three-year starter awarded all-Conference honors as a senior after leading Auburn in tackles with 73/5.50/1 while posting three interceptions and breaking up five passes. Posted a career-best 104 tackles during his junior season.
Positive: Competitive two-down linebacker who is best in the box or downhill. Gives a lot of effort and stacks well against the run. Plays heads-up football, breaks down well, and shows the ability to defeat blocks to get to the play. Wraps up tackling and brings defenders down on initial contact.
Negative: Possesses a poor burst of speed and shows no skill in pursuit. Struggles getting out to the flanks to make plays. Lacks quickness and fluidity changing direction.
Analysis: Bynes was a consistent force against the run for the Auburn defense yet lacks the skills necessary to be anything other than a backup at the next level, potentially on the inside of a 3-4 alignment.

Height: 6-1

Akeem Dent

School: Georgia
Position: ILB
Bio: All-Conference selection as a senior after totaling 126/2.5/6.5. Part-time starter as a junior and posted 32 tackles. Started 10 games a sophomore and put up 46/1.5/3.
Positive: Stout run-defending linebacker who is best in the box. Stays with assignments, takes proper angles to the action, and gives effort. Forceful up the field, stacks well against the run, and plays with physicality. Has adequate change-of-direction skills, and nicely redirects to the ball carrier. Wraps up well when tackling.
Negative: Struggles in coverage, slow transitioning with tight ends off the line, and displays minimal range on the field. Lacks classic size and does not have the speed to make up for his size deficiency.
Analysis: Dent was a solid player for Georgia and a productive linebacker since his freshman season. He's a hard-nosed football player yet is a limited athlete with marginal upside. He plays with a special teams mentality and could be a reserve on the inside at linebacker.

Height: 6-0.5
Weight: 240
40: 4.68

Brian Duncan

School: Texas Tech
Position: ILB
Bio: Three-year starter who posted 63/12/7 as a senior after leading the team in tackles the prior two years, posting 88 as a junior and 94 as a sophomore.
Positive: Explosive run-defending linebacker who makes plays sideline to sideline. Plays with good pad level, stays with assignments, and fluid changing direction. Easily moves sideline to sideline, displays adequate speed in pursuit, and has the ability to get depth on pass drops. Explosive at the point of attack and works hard to make plays.
Negative: Marginal footwork moving in reverse. Easily taken from the action by blocks.
Analysis: Duncan has been a productive linebacker at Texas Tech but was moved around as a senior and did not develop at any single position. He offers potential as a backup middle linebacker in a conventional alignment and comes with a special teams mentality.

Height: 6-1.5
Weight: 250
40: 4.78
Year: 5Sr

Obi Ezeh

School: Michigan
Position: ILB
Bio: Four-year starter who totaled 56 tackles and 3.5 tackles for loss as a senior after recording 69 tackles during his junior campaign. Had a career-best 98 tackles as a sophomore.
Positive: One-time highly rated run defending linebacker whose game has regressed the past two seasons. Breaks down well, strong at the point, and stacks well against the run. Displays good movement skills and athleticism and gets depth on pass drops. Explosive at the point, pursues the action with speed, and flashes on the scene. Displays skill in zone coverage and the ability to turn his hips and run with opponents down the field.
Negative: Does not look like he plays with a lot of intensity. Rarely uses his hands to protect himself. Marginally instinctive and often gets caught out of position.
Analysis: After his first two years at Michigan, Ezeh looked like a big-time linebacker prospect. He's run hot and cold the past two years and at times looks like he'd rather be elsewhere than on the football field. Ezeh has the size and skill to be a solid middle or inside the linebacker at the next level if he ever gets his game back on track.

Height: 5-11.5
Weight: 237
40: 4.58
Year: 4Sr

Stephen Franklin

School: Southern Illinois
Position: ILB
Bio: All-Conference selection as a senior after becoming a full-time starter and posting career-best numbers of 76/5.5/2 to lead Southern Illinois in tackles. Also added one interception and broke up two more passes. Totaled 38 tackles as a junior.
Positive: Smallish but athletic linebacker with the ability to make plays sideline to sideline. Flows well laterally to the action, aggressive and gets after ball carriers. Affectively uses his hands to protect himself and immediately alters his angle of attack or redirects to ball carriers. Solid run stuffer who quickly makes his way up the field.
Negative: Takes incorrect angles to the action and gets caught out of position too often. Easily knocked off balance or sealed from the play by blocks.
Analysis: Franklin comes off a terrific senior season and possesses the size/speed numbers to be a reserve inside linebacker if he continues to progress and completes his game.

Height: 6-4
Weight: 244
40: 4.91
Year: 5Sr

Mark Herzlich

School: Boston College
Position: ILB
Bio: Three-year starter awarded the ACC's Brian Piccolo Award as a senior after finishing the season with 65 tackles, 3.5 tackles, and 4 interceptions. Sat on the sidelines in 2009 after being diagnosed with Ewing's sarcoma, a rare form of bone cancer. All-Conference and All-American recipient as a junior in 2008, when he led Boston College with 110 tackles, 13 tackles for loss, 6 interceptions, and 8 pass break-ups. Sophomore totals included 97/12/1.5.
Positive: One-time highly rated prospect who was slowed by injury and illness the past two years. At the top of his game Herzlich is a playmaker on defense who goes sideline to sideline chasing plays or forcing the action up the field. Gets depth on pass drops, remains disciplined with coverage assignments, and shows skill over the tight end or covering ball carriers out of the backfield. Sells out on the blitz and is tough to stop up the field. Breaks down well and uses his hands correctly. Instinctive and effectively diagnoses the action.
Negative: Lost a lot of quickness and speed upon his return in 2010. Struggles getting off blocks. Displayed a minimal burst. Had difficulty making plays with his back to the ball. Lost a step of speed and was not able to go sideline to sideline.
Analysis: Herzlich, justifiably considered a potential top ten pick before his illness of 2009, valiantly returned to the football field last year and was one of the better stories from college football. His play on the field was not as explosive or quick as previous years and right now Herzlich projects as a two-down, run-defending inside linebacker for a team willing to take a chance on him late in the draft.

Height: 6-0.5
Weight: 240
40: 4.66
Year: 5Sr

Ross Homan

School: Ohio State
Position: ILB
Bio: Three-year starter awarded all-Conference honors since his junior season. Senior totals included 72/2/1 when he intercepted one pass and broke up four more. Led the team in tackles as a junior with 108/5/2, also intercepting five passes and breaking up five more.
Positive: Instinctive, hard-working linebacker constantly around the action. Breaks down well, quickly changes direction, and rarely gets knocked off his feet. Gets depth on pass drops, shows ability in coverage, and remains disciplined with assignments. Plays smart, heads-up football, immediately diagnosing the action. Makes plays sideline to sideline, quickly fills gaps up the field, and effectively uses his hands to protect himself.
Negative: Not a reliable tackler. Easily blocked at the point of attack and struggles getting through the trash.
Analysis: Homan is a consistent defender who understands the position and does the little things well. He lacks great physical skills yet does enough to be a productive backup in a variety of defensive alignments at the next level.

Height: 6-3.5
Weight: 239
40: 4.81

Ben Jacobs

School: Fresno State
Position: ILB
Bio: Four-year starter awarded all-Conference honors every season since his sophomore campaign. Senior totals included 87/4/1 after he had 106 tackles as a junior and 113 as a sophomore. Led Fresno State in tackles in each of the past three seasons.
Positive: Tough two-down linebacker who is best in the box. Plays smart football, displays short-area quickness, and chases the action hard. Gives a lot of effort, displays good instincts, and wraps up tackling.
Negative: Struggles in coverage and does not cover much area on the field. Has marginal speed in pursuit.
Analysis: Jacobs has been ultra productive as a run defender since his sophomore season. He possesses the mentality to back up on the inside of a 3-4 alignment.

Height: 6-1
Weight: 215
40: 4.63
Year: 4Sr

Davyd Jones

School: Ball State
Position: ILB
Bio: Two-year starter was named defensive captain as a senior. Totals last year included 66 tackles and 4.5 tackles for loss after he had 100 tackles and 8 tackles for loss as a junior.
Positive: Hard-working linebacker who makes a lot of plays sideline to sideline. Effectively reads the action, remains disciplined with assignments, and does not bite on play-action passes. Relatively instinctive, flows well to the action, and attacks ball carriers. Smooth turning his hips in coverage, fluid changing direction, and quickly collapses laterally to make plays out to the sidelines. Keeps the action in front of him and consistently positions himself to make plays on the ball.
Negative: Is undersized, not forceful on the blitz, and struggles taking on blocks. Minimally productive in coverage.
Analysis: Jones lacks classic linebacker size yet has enough speed and smarts to play in a system that allows him to freely flow to the action.

Height: 6-0
Weight: 242
40: 4.75
Year: 4Sr

Greg Jones

School: Michigan State
Position: ILB
Bio: Four-year starter awarded all-Conference honors since his freshman campaign, as well as all-American honors the past two seasons. Posted 106/10/1, two interceptions and three pass defenses as a senior after 154 tackles as a junior, 127 tackles as a sophomore, and 78 tackles as a freshman. His impressive junior numbers earned him Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year honors.
Positive: Intense and intelligent linebacker with a great head for the ball. Explosive at the point, quickly fills gaps up the field, and immediately locates the ball. Shows ability in pursuit, fluid moving in reverse, and has a burst to the action. Goes hard sideline to sideline, remains disciplined with assignments, and gives effort tackling. Fluid moving in every direction of the field. Incredibly instinctive and does a great job making sure teammates are in proper position.
Negative: Undersized, struggles taking on blocks, and is more of a drag down tackler. Marginal strength at the point.
Analysis: Jones has been a tackling machine at Michigan State and is a highly competitive linebacker who plays smart football. He has size limitations, but if he's put in a system that protects linebackers, he should be a productive starter at the next level.

Height: 6-1
Weight: 242
40: 4.83
Year: 4Sr

Elijah Joseph

School: Temple
Position: ILB
Bio: Four-year starter who was awarded all-Conferences honors as a senior after totaling 71/5.5/1, an interception, and six pass defenses. Junior totals included 63/6.5/2.
Positive: Tough run defending linebacker who is best in the box or up the field. Remains disciplined with assignments, quickly fills gaps, and wraps up tackling. Attacks ball carriers, breaks down well, and gives effort. Aggressive in all aspects of the game and a hard hitter.
Negative: Struggles in coverage, lacks a burst in his overall game, and is undersized. Not smooth scraping laterally and gets caught up in the wash.
Analysis: Joseph was a solid college linebacker, but poor size/speed numbers will limit him at the next level. He could end up on the inside in a 3-4 defense if he plays well on special teams.

Height: 6.2.5
Weight: 232
40: 4.85
Year: 4Sr

Luke Lambert

School: Missouri
Position: ILB
Bio: Limited to four games last season after suffering a knee injury. Finished the year with 17/2/1. Junior totals included 20 tackles, when he was limited to six games due to a shoulder injury. Sophomore totals included a career-best 58 tackles.
Positive: One time highly rated linebacker who's struggled to stay healthy the past two-years. Breaks down well, explosive at the point, and is a forceful hitter. Attacks ball carriers, chases the action hard, and sells out on the blitz. Displays the ability to slide off blocks and get up the field to defend the run. Effectively diagnoses the action and plays with explosiveness.
Negative: More of a straight-line defender and lacks the ability to quickly change direction. Struggles getting off blocks and sealed from the action. Stiff pedaling in reverse and shows limited skills in coverage.
Analysis: Scouts were high on Lambert after his sophomore season, but injuries disrupted his career. He's a high motor defender who goes all out on every play. He's potentially a backup linebacker who can produce on special teams if he is not red flagged due to prior health issues.

Height: 6-0.5
Weight: 242
40: 4.87
Year: 5Sr

Orie Lemon

School: Oklahoma State
Position: ILB
Bio: All-Conference selection as a senior after posting career-best numbers and leading Oklahoma State in tackles with 133/9/2.5. Redshirted in 2009 after he had 90 tackles in 2008.
Positive: Forceful run-defending linebacker who is best in the box. Displays a good head for the ball, remains disciplined with assignments, and chases the action hard. Stout at the point, wraps up tackling, and can be an intimidating force in the middle. Effectively uses his hands to shed blocks. Takes proper angles to the action. Has adequate skill in zone coverage when he's not asked to move laterally.
Negative: Plays stiff at times. Lacks top speed to the sidelines. Possesses a marginal burst and is ineffective in pursuit.
Analysis: Lemon stepped up his game as a senior and overcame limited athleticism with his competitive style. He's a solid two-down defender who could be a backup on the inside of a 3-4 defense.

Height: 6-1
Weight: 246
40: 4.8
Year: 4Sr

Greg Lloyd

School: Connecticut
Position: ILB
Bio: Three-year starter who was awarded all-Conference honors as a junior. Played in just seven games as a senior and posted 25 tackles. Had a career-high 91 tackles as a junior before suffering a season-ending knee injury 12 games into the campaign. Had 56 tackles as a sophomore.
Positive: Stout run defending linebacker who has struggled returning from the knee injury suffered in 2009. Disciplined with assignments, wraps up tackling, and drives through ball carriers. Effective when the action is in front of him, shows ability in zone coverage, and is fluid changing direction or altering his angle of attack. Breaks down well.
Negative: Shows minimal quickness in his game. Often looks indecisive. Marginal burst to the action.
Analysis: Lloyd was justifiably rated as one of the better middle linebackers in the nation coming into the season but never fully regained his prior form after the knee injury as a junior. Possesses the skills and playing style to be a reserve on the inside if he's able to get back to full health sometime soon.

Height: 6-1.5
Weight: 247
40: 4.83
Year: 6Sr

Negative: Struggles pedaling in reverse and lacks balance. Must learn to use his hands to protect himself. Shows minimal quickness and burst.
Analysis: Marcorelle has been productive on the college level yet has struggled with injuries throughout most of his Delaware career. He has potential as a run-defending inside linebacker if he can remain healthy.

Height: 6-1
Weight: 231
40: 4.82
Year: 5Sr

Position: ILB
Bio: Full-time starter the past two seasons and an all-Conference selection as a senior. Totals last year included 79/9/3 with one interception. Junior numbers included 81/4.5/3.
Positive: Hardworking college linebacker with marginal size/speed numbers for the NFL. Displays good awareness, breaks down well and remains disciplined with assignments. Quickly locates the ball, fires up the field in run defense, and wraps up tackling. Uses his hands to protect himself, fluid pedaling in reverse, and quickly changes direction. Sells out in run defense and plays with an aggressive attitude. Collapses from the outside to defend the run and easily flows to the action.
Negative: Average athlete with marginal quickness. Lacks true pursuit speed. Not a reliable tackler.
Analysis: Mathews was a solid college linebacker yet overrated outside of scouting circles because of his last name. He's a potential backup at the next level if he performs well on special teams.

Height: 6-0.5
Weight: 230
40: 4.81
Year: 5Sr

Marshall McFadden

School: South Carolina State
Position: ILB

Positive: Tough run defending linebacker who is best in the box. Instinctive, diagnoses the action, and gets off blocks to make plays on the ball. Remains disciplined with assignments and works well with teammates.

Weight: 239
40: 4.65
Year: 5Sr

Michael Mohamed

School: California
Position: ILB
Bio: Three-year starter awarded all-Conference honors every season since his junior campaign. Led Cal in tackles the past two years posting, 95/5/2 as a senior and 112 tackles as a junior. Sophomore numbers included 87 tackles.
Positive: Hard-nosed football player who is best stopping the run. Remains disciplined with assignments, fierce up the field, and plays hard until the whistle blows. Effectively diagnoses the action, displays good instincts, and plays with physicality. Breaks down well, effectively uses his hands to protect himself, and wraps up when tackling. Stacks well against the run and nicely redirects to ball carriers or slides off blocks to make the play.
Negative: Best in a straight line and struggles to immediately change direction without losing momentum. Not fluid or quick pedaling in reverse and struggles in coverage.
Analysis: Mohamed was a terrific college run defender who possesses the size and growth potential to be used on the inside of a 3-4 alignment in the NFL. He's a liability in coverage but has the skills to be a productive two-down defender.

Height: 5-9.5
Weight: 224
40: 4.71
Year: 5Sr

Nicholas Reveiz

School: Tennessee
Position: ILB
Bio: Two-year starter who led Tennessee in tackles as a senior with 108, along with recording two interceptions. Junior totals included 27 tackles, as he played just four games before suffering a season ending knee injury.
Positive: Tough run-defending linebacker who also displays ability in zone coverage. Remains disciplined with assignments, changes directions well, and hustles around the field working to make plays. Fluid pedaling in reverse, displays skill in pursuit, and is a solid open-field tackler. Takes good angles to the action.
Negative: Undersized and easily turned from the action by blocks. Lacks great overall speed and has more of a short burst.
Analysis: Reveiz did a terrific job returning from injury last season, but he has limited size and speed. He may find a home on an NFL roster if he checks out medically then produces on special teams.

Height: 6-2
Weight: 250
40: 4.81
Year: 5Sr

Kelvin Sheppard

School: LSU
Position: ILB
Bio: Two-year starter awarded all-Conference honors since his junior season. Totals last year included 116/11/4. Posted 110/8.5/1 as a junior.
Positive: Stout, run-defending linebacker with the ability to play in a variety of systems. Forceful up the field, sells out on the blitz, and flies around the ball trying to make positive plays. Defeats blocks by opposing lineman, scrapes well laterally, and quickly gets to the ball carrier. Takes good angles to the action, wraps up tackling, and is a strong open field tackler. Breaks down well and effectively uses his hands. Remains disciplined with cover assignments. Flashes a burst to the action.
Negative: Not smooth or fluid turning his hips in coverage. Marginal speed in pursuit. Struggles to change direction quickly.
Analysis: Sheppard is one of the better run defending linebackers in this year's draft and a can be used in the middle or on the inside of a 3-4 alignment. He's an underrated prospect who will eventually break into the starting lineup of an NFL roster.

Height: 6-0
Weight: 243
40: 4.85
Year: 5Sr

Derrell Smith

School: Syracuse
Position: ILB
Bio: Three-year starter awarded all-Conference honors after his senior and junior seasons. Led Syracuse in tackles the past two years, most recently totaling 114/9/1.5 as a senior after junior totals of 81/10/6.5.
Positive: Aggressive, run defending safety best in the box. Remains disciplined with assignments, quickly locates the ball, and wraps up when tackling. Displays the ability to hold his ground against blocks and is terrific against the run.
Negative: At his best moving straight-ahead and lacks the quick change of direction or speed to the sidelines. Struggles in coverage. Marginal skill in pursuit.

Height: 6-1
Weight: 241
40: 4.75
Year: 4Sr

Quan Sturdivant

School: North Carolina
Position: ILB
Bio: Three-year starter who totaled 61/8.5/3 as a senior, although he missed five games with hamstring issues. All-Conference selection as a junior after posting 79 tackles with 12 tackles for loss. Posted a career-best 122 tackles as a sophomore.
Positive: Aggressive run defending linebacker who makes a lot of plays between the numbers. Breaks down well, has good quickness, and explodes up the field filling gaps in run defense. Chases the action hard, holds his ground against blocks, and gets depth on pass drops. Flashes the ability to run downfield with tight ends.
Negative: Lacks great size and shows minimal force on the blitz. Not a strong open-field tackler and struggles to immediately bring ball carriers down at the point of contact. Easily slowed by blocks. Lacks quickness scraping laterally. Average athlete.
Analysis: Sturdivant was a terrific run-defending linebacker at North Carolina who also showed skill making plays in space. He does not possess great size for a middle linebacker at the next level, and he does not have the cover skills to be moved to the weak side. He may be best on the inside of a 3-4 alignment but will need time to develop and physically mature.

Height: 6-2.5
Weight: 230
40: 4.71
Year: 4Sr

Sidney Tarver

School: Tennessee State
Position: ILB
Bio: Two-year starter who posted 62/7.5/3.5 as a senior and 35/2.5/1 as a junior.
Positive: Adequately sized linebacker who makes plays in every direction of the field. Breaks down well, effectively uses his hands to protect himself, and quickly locates the ball. Gets depth on pass drops, fluid moving in every direction of the field, and makes plays in space. Displays force off the edge as a pass rusher and is rarely off his feet.
Negative: Struggles getting off blocks once engaged at the point of attack. Marginal production making plays in reverse.
Analysis: Tarver has the skill set to be a weak side linebacker in the NFL and produce on special teams.

Height: 6-2.6
Weight: 240
40: 4.65
Year: 4Sr

Remains disciplined with assignments, does not bite on ball fakes, and stays with the action. Effectively defeats blocks and wraps up tackling.
Negative: Ineffective in pursuit and does not show long-range speed. Lacks quick and immediate change-of-direction skills. Not smooth turning his hips to transition in coverage.
Analysis: White is a big inside/middle linebacker prospect and who stacks well against the run. He could see significant starting action at the next level, although he will likely leave the field on passing downs.

Height: 6-2.5
Weight: 247
40: 4.77
Year: 5Sr

Alex Wujciak

School: Maryland
Position: ILB
Bio: Three-year starter awarded all-Conference honors since his sophomore campaign. Led Maryland in tackles since his sophomore season with totals of 117 tackles as a senior. Had 131/8.5/1 as a junior and 133/8.5/1.5 as a sophomore.
