Positive: Fluid college offensive tackle who projects to guard in the NFL. Moves well on his feet, quick to the second level and seals off linebackers from the action with good body positioning. Quick in all aspects of the game, blocks with good lean, and bends his knees. Blocks with a nasty attitude and gets after assignments. Good jolt and pop at the point of attack with his hands. Displays the ability to slide off the edge in pass protection.
Negative: Narrow-based blocker with limited strength in his lower body. Ducks his head at times. Does not get movement run blocking.
Analysis: Sherman has the size and athleticism to be a practice squad player and is a developmental prospect for a zone blocking system.
