Roy Watts

School: Houston
Position: G
Bio: Junior college transfer that started the past two seasons at left tackle.
Positive: Hard-working, small area blocker with marginal upside. Blocks with good lean, stays square and keeps defenders in front of him. Solid position blocker who seals defenders from the action. Keeps his head on a swivel and plays with a good degree of awareness. Quick off the snap and blocks down well on opponents.
Negative: Must improve his overall strength at the point. Lacks footwork in space. On the ground too much and must improve his balance.
Analysis: Watt is a well sized blocking prospect who showed flashes the past two seasons yet is still very raw in his overall game. He has enough skill to be placed on a practice squad but would be better off moving from his college position of tackle inside to guard.
