Bio: Four-year starter who made 51 consecutive starts at Ball State.
Positive: Smart, durable blocker best in a small area. Blocks with a wide base, displays strength at the point of attack, and works hard to finish off opponents. Attacks assignments, keeps his feet moving, and makes good use of angles and body positioning. Seals defenders from the action and stays square.
Negative: Ineffective in motion and plays stiff. Lumbers about the field. Bends at the waist, which adversely affects his balance.
Analysis: Switzer has been a productive lineman for Ball State since stepping on the field as a true freshman. He's a limited athlete with poor size/speed numbers, but the ability to handle multiple positions on the offensive line could help catch on as an inexpensive backup.
