Michael Booker

School: Northwestern State
Position: G
Bio: Three-year starter who began his career at Oklahoma State. All-Conference and all-American selection as a senior.
Positive: Massive offensive lineman who is best in a small area. Quick off the snap, explosive at the point, and does a nice job picking up stunts and twists. Immediately gets his hands into defenders and extends them. Possesses violent hand punch and easily knocks defenders from their angle of attack. Better than average skills moving on his feet.
Negative: Not a natural knee bender and gets tall in his stance. Lacks overall blocking balance.
Analysis: Booker has shown a lot of skill the past three seasons and moves well for such a large lineman. He offers ability as a backup and can be used in several blocking systems if he conditions himself properly.
