Bio: Full-time starter as a senior after seeing limited action with the first team the prior year.
Positive: Explosive, wide-bodied lineman who is best in a small area. Quick off the snap, stays square, and blocks with good knee bend and pad level. Gets movement run blocking, keeps his feet moving, and shows the ability to pick up stunts or twists thrown by the opponent. Strong and controls opponents once engaged at the point.
Negative: Does not consistently finish blocks. Bends at the waist. Ineffective in motion.
Analysis: Hurt is a solid college player who developed late in his career. He offers the size and skills for the next level and could be a surprise starter two or three years down the road.
