John Moffitt

School: Wisconsin
Position: G
Bio: Three-year starter who also saw action with the first team as a freshman. All-Conference selection the past two years and named to several All-American teams as a senior. Experience at both guard and center.
Positive: Strong, small-area blocker with both size and growth potential. Plays with decent quickness, explosive at the point, and blocks with a nasty attitude. Anchors in pass protection, turns defenders off the ball as a run blocker, and opens up running lanes. Sets with a wide base, jolts defenders with good hand punch, and works hard until the whistle blows. Keeps his head on a swivel and works well with teammates.
Negative: Stiff, struggles to adjust, and ineffective blocking in motion. Lacks a truly dominant base.
Analysis: Moffitt was a solid college lineman for Wisconsin and has the ability to start at either center or guard for a power running offense in the NFL.
